Boudewijn de Groot (b. 20 May 1944) is a Dutch singer/songwriter who has enjoyed popularity throughout the last several decades. Famous songs include 'Avond', 'Welterusten Meneer de President' and 'Land van Maas en Waal'. Boudewijn de Groot was born in a Japanese concentration camp in 1944. His mother died in the same camp in 1945.
